award-winning and has led to three books and a t.v. series, but most  importantly, she 
often writes about her basset hounds Charlie and Walter!   (And Charlie is 
the subject of one of her books.)
 
You would love all of her bassety posts, but especially today's, about the  
calming quality of basset (and the puzzle of basset minds).  Accompanied by 
 some really glorious photos of her two boys.
