She had a tumor on her spleen, so a splenectomy was done. She also has a mass on one of her adrenal glands. That would be very tricky to remove so we left it alone and just completed the surgery. The pathology report will help is decide if nothing else should be done. At this point, I doubt any further procedures will be done, but time and Pearl will tell us what to do. I still hope to bring her home tomorrow but will speak to the surgeon later today and see what she thinks. Pearl has certainly been full of surprises and it will be good to have her sleeping on her pillow again and hear her bellowing at the boys.
