[Dailydrool] drool and neutering - JP and JR

Massive drool going to both Sister Daisy and Pearl.  I hope they get off their roller coasters of healing soon, and they need to get back to their at home pillow thrones.
One of Pierre Sr.'s (ATB) best dog buddies was a lovely, sweet and well trained pit bull.  He was not neutered.  He was only 9 before testicular cancer stole his young life.  Great loss of a wonderful dog.
Jean Paul has developed an eye condition called corneal endothelial degeneration.  His eyes became bluish and cloudy, and when I brought this to the attention of his regular vet, he immediately sent me to the specialist.  He has an ointment 3x a day for life, now, and after one day, I can see improvement already.  I know this can lead to other problems down the road, but I am grateful that it is arrested for now.  It is not curable.
For many reasons, and I am so sad to repawt this, but I am denying Jr. of his trip to Ohio.  I was really looking forward to it, but the current logistics in my house, especially now with JP's eye condition, make me feel very selfish to make the trip.  On the flip of the coin, I feel very selfish not to do the trip, likewise, but please know my heart is there in spirit.  I shared many shirts with my friends, and jr. mailed his pledges, so we are doing our best to continue to support the wonderful rescue who saved him.  He is a blessing of a hound in so many ways.Please know that I am thinking of you all, and I will miss, among so many other things,  is the chance for the communicator to dialogue with Jr.  Maybe someone can arrange a vicarious reading for him, maybe, Kathi, his foster Mom, if this is even possible???  I know the fest will be great, and I know the weather has changed for the better.  AROOOOOOOOOO
