[Dailydrool] Getting a basset to eat

In my (just this evening) experience, any basset will eat if the food is
placed in a plastic bag inside a cloth bag, and put on the back of a desk.
All you have to do is go out for a couple of hours and leave the poor
starving basset alone in the house (with only another basset and two cats
for company, after said basset has had dinner), and the basset will struggle
up on top of the desk, get the bag and eat whatever is in it. (Brie, in this
case.)

Okay, so I forgot, and we went out which we do semi-annually... could I not
have had a pass once? And Bev, I do recommend you try this with Daisy as
long as she's able to climb annoyingly well.

Humph.
Mary
& either Paddi B Basset or Vernon Q Basset, whichever one didn't get the
cheese...
I'm not speaking either to or for the other one.
