[Dailydrool] Rusty's day as a beagle

It is me, Rusty. Folks might not know that I started my rescue career at Penny Angel's Beagle Rescue. The president's husband, Kenny wanted to adopt me. A LOT!!! So I had to move out to my present slaves. Something about liking to snack on senior beagles...... Anyhow, today I went to the annual Beagle Barbeque. I had to by raffle tickets for our little friend, Xmas. Xmas lived with my friend, Kenny for a whole year till he moved to Ohio to live with Chunky and Olivia. Xmas is getting mailed a box of beagle crap that he won and the slaves are quite happy that they got a boatload of stuff......including a bowling ball with doggie cartoons on it....seriously. She slave is trying to decide which is stranger, the bowling ball or the dental floss she won at the Brood Ramble a couple weeks back. Both Anne the Ramble raffle lady and Terri the Beagie Raffle lady do real good and throw a heck of a raffle. 



Pawtunia wore her purple flowered dress both times and was allowed to borrow the sainted Feyfey's pearls for competition only. She slave snivels when she takes them out, but is quite pleased to say that Pawtunia won first place in the not a beagle division and at the Ramble. Congratulations to Uncle John's sister for the great dress......although she slave swears it was the pearls and feyfey extending her paw from the bridge. 



We got LOTS of good things to eat. Came back with a case of goodies and bags of treats. I'm very confused cause they can't seem to decide if I am a beagle or not.......if it gets me pets, I AM A BEAGLE!!! Giant, long earred 75 pound beagles seem to garner a lot of attention....and everybody knows me there......especially Kenny who loves me a lot. There was lots of cheering when Xmas won stuffs in the raffle. Good thing he did NOT win the bowling ball........cause we is not sending that thing to Ohio. (We know who gets it!) 




Today, I was a beagle.
