[Dailydrool] Sending the DH to the Vet

I'm usually the one who takes all the dogs to vet, unfortunately tho I
have to send the DH today.
After sending him about 5 or 6 texts after I made the appt for
Schroeder, I sat back and silently chuckled to myself and thought
droolers could probably appreciate and understand my temporary moment
of mom-slave insanity and super detailed instructions.

My little Schroeder-man has been a little bit of a mess this spring.
Itchies everywhere, goopy eyes, and now something going on in his left
ear.
He suffers from dry eye, so I put special drops in his eyes a few times
a week, but with everything in full spring bloom I'm having to do drops
nightly. He is chewing and itching and I have this really good spray
from the vet that works but that is a nightly thing now too.

To top it off he has an ear problem. I usually clean his ears weekly.
Two weeks ago, I did his usual cleaning and noticed that it seemed like
the inside of his ear was actually peeling and wiped off with the
Biogroom cleaner I was using. But then it went away. Until yesterday.

I cleaned his ears on Saturday, he woofed and cringed slighly when I put
some drops of the solution in, which he never does. And I thought crap.
I made sure I was extremely gentle cleaning them and he seemed ok but
did lay on my lap extra long after we were done. Then last night he
started rubbing that ear on the floor off an on and was grunting and
groaning and then I thought crap again. He's got an ear infection or
something. So I lifted up to look and it looked red and it was peeling
again but not much wax and there was one flap that looked really red and
swollen. And then he just leaned his head on my lap as if to say "Oh
Mom please make it better". I felt so bad.

So anyway, the DH has a long list of texts with very specific
instructions, comments and notes to take to the vet today. LOL
And I am also making sure that if they ask any more questions about his
eyes to see if we should have him tested for glaucoma too.
I hate not being able to be the one to take him but I can't get out of
work today to do this and the DH is home.

So I will be waiting patiently by my phone between 3:15 and 4 pm today
to see what's going on with my buddy.

Sophies's dry cracked nose is doing well with the olive oil treatment
but that has to be daily (few times) too and I'm battling itchies and
hot spots with Lucy right now too. Schroeder's ears have me a bit
worried tho. Thank doG I don't have two legger kids! These guys are
keeping me xtra busy right now.

We send our love and drool to all in need....

Annette, Schroeder, Sophie, Lucy, and Apollo & Cash
