Perhaps your Bassets are closer to their Inner Wolves than some others.
Do you catch them looking at you oddly when you make a sudden movement-- a
kind of predatory look?
Watch out!  Don't wear furry clothing and try not to nibble carrots in
front of them..... you never know.

MomPerson to Nigel, Llewis and Conley, who sometimes THINKS he has an Inner
Wolf.
