We try to buy almost everything made in the USA. Some things it is
impossible. Some things it is more expensive. Surprisingly, sometimes it is
less expensive. We definitely notice a distinct quality difference most of
the time. Its definitely worth it. If we can't find made in the USA, we next
go for European made, which is also of excellent quality. I think it's a
great idea for the store to try this out and see how well it goes over - I
hear more and more people talking about it.

As for green beans, our lab Daphne would not touch them. What I think
started out accidentally but worked so well it soon became on purpose was to
treat everyone with green beans by dropping some on the floor. Everyone
rushed in and gobbled all they could as fast as they could. After a few
days, Daphne found she loved them. She is still picky about her fruits and
vegetables in general, unlike Claude & Izzy - the bassets - but she
definitely likes the beans,
