einstein is doing great, he is only wearing the collar at night and when
we are not home. he is not scratching or rubbing his eye, eating well
and apparently not in a lot of pain.....when i tell him it is time for
medicine he goes to his bed, and puts his head on a pillow to wait for
the drops.....he is amazing !......i've attached a picture that i hope
will be able to be viewed......both eyes are red because of the surgery,
but it is the right eye (your left looking at the picture) that is the
prosthetic.......the color will change as his body absorbs the blood
behind the lens.......the vet said the pressure in the eye before
removal was 35 which would still make him very uncomfortable, (he was
taking pain meds).......i have been giving the tramadol and the rimadyl
as directed, but may cut the tramadol to only at night and see how he
does......thanks for all the support and caring......nancy
