[Dailydrool] old dawg still has it...

Old man Elvis ( yes- the one that will be celebrating his centennial in less than two weeks...) snatched the pizza off my plate tonight in a nano second! Now in his younger, and four-legged, days he was quite the surfer. Counters, fences, tables~ all were equal challenges. Over the times he vacationed at my house he got my bowl ONCE. He has lived here now for over 4 1/2 years- not a single surfing incident to report. Ok, there was one time when he started licking the food on my plate- but I'd set the plate down on my bed and he was on my bed as well.
Tonight he was on the couch, I set my plate down on the end table and walked out of the room for about 30 seconds. I came back in and there was my pizza on his pillow and in his chops! I chastised him in a stern voice and took my pizza back. Got myself a new piece and when I was done, I shared the pre-licked piece between him and the girls. He must have moved without a moment's hesitation to get the pizza- I really was only out of the room for seconds LOL... old dawg still has it!
