Why I fink da Brudder Elwood been thrown outta dere fur me actions of beenin a basset whut dont like dem toebones cut. All dem folks seys why I can handle da Brudder nebber meetz da Brudder durin da toebone chopping. Momma made soup. Nice soup, got beefy and vegtubuls and oh it smelled so nice--so Momma get one ob them tastin bowls--nice blue color--hold bout a cup--glass--she called it summfin--
So she ober dere a suckin it down and I sittin rite dere. She was nice--she put da liddle bowl on da floor fur me to suck down them juices. 
I do dat qiuck. She dont leeb much.
She go to pick up da bowl, and Brudder Elwood seys dat mine. I grabbed da bowl wif me teef and haul it down da hall to da libbin room with youze knowz whooze in whut we call hot persuity.
Boy--she was hot. She be a yellin drop it--I seys, dat mine-gib her nice growl, liddel snarl--show her whooze boss.
She go git a cookie--I still gotz me bowl---she showz da Brudder da cookie--I gib liddel back-up snarl--she throws da cookie up on da couch--seyz git dat.
I git me cookie, she grab da bowl, but----
I git back on da floor and she gib me da foot rite in me rumpbone.
Yes, she dooze dis. 
Why I nebber.

Now I ask youze--is dis slave trainin or whut---I got soup and desertz--da old wooman aint figured dis out--me win, she looze.
