[Dailydrool] Hatred wont heal us

Hello Drool Family,

I spent the several hours after the tragedy this morning trying to convince
Boo that I was okay. He looked at me and said that is been weeping for a
half an hour and that I could g possibly be okay. Then tonight, I am
weeping again.

I lost a friend. Some one I care about, even though I have never met her.
She had made a statement on a social media website, and I made the mistake
of differing from her opinion. At which point, she equated me as being
evil, and started swearing at me. She is in leadership at a Basset Hound
Rescue. I have heard of these kinds of things, but never experienced it
firsthand.

I'm not quitting the Drool, and I am not mad. I just never thought that I
would meet such hostility from someone I thought of as a member of my Drool
family. So, if after an event such as today, you say something and get
attacked a d accused as if you had committed the act yourself, don't give
in or give up. In will still buy things from her rescue. Why? Because I
love the Basset Hounds.

Hatred cannot heal us. It only divides. Us. I love you all, even the woman
who called me evil. Why? Because she has a Basset Hound. I do not disagree
with anyone enough to hate them. But to disagree, of course. Hate someone?
No way.

Have a good night. Hug your kids, and fur kids. I really do care about you
all!!
