[Dailydrool] Telling your hounds exactly where you're going

I must admit that sometimes I do tell the hounds where I'm going. If I'm going out, I usually tell them and give them an estimate of when I will be home. This may be because Belvedere had me trained. He had separation anxiety, and if I let him know when he could expect me back, he seemed to do better.

Our last foster, Baby, who was only here for a short time, used to follow me wherever I went. So I got in the habit of telling her where I was going. It didn't matter, since she still followed me when I moved from room to room. When I was cleaning house, she'd even follow me from one part of the room to another. She's probably doing it for her new humans too.

If I'm going in the cellar, where I don't allow the dogs to go because it's pretty creepy and sometimes wet, I always tell the dogs.

I guess my hounds are pretty spoiled!
