[Dailydrool] Question from LuLu about toebones

I have to take my girls to the groomer or the vet to get their toebones
trimmed, too, especially Gracie. We're talking Brudder Elwood type behavior
here, so it's worth the money, especially since Gracie's are huge and thick
and grow very fast. Anyway, I let the groomers use the grinder on them ONE
TIME, and I seriously thought they were all going to have heart attacks.
Very, very upset doggies, thrashing around and SCREAMING, and of course you
have to remember that they are also all getting pretty old. (At the time we
were talking 10, 11 and 13 years old.) So I don't let them grind any more.
The groomers tell me that they can do a better, safer job with the grinder,
no accidentally quicking a toe, but my girls are too old to adapt. And I
could not stand watching, too old to adapt, too, I guess. We just get them
clipped.
