i transport almost every weekend and was really touched by this story. it was a puppy that was saved by one of our own, all ears basset rescue, and never had that second chance. Saved from a high kill shelter, a tragic accident claimed their lives. transporters are the lifeline of saving shelter animals and our beloved bassets.
 
please safety first..and always. what a sad lost for the rescue community
