Martha,
I noticed you have the "question mark" dilemma as well, I had it too until 
I was told it is caused by the yahoo.com. If you leave an extra space 
between sentences or lines, it adds a question mark to remind you. I don't like it 
at all, I was taught to leave 2 spaces between sentences and I had to 
retrain my old brain to this new habit.
