[Dailydrool] You're Not Alone, Yogi

Hi Yogi,

This is Lilie. My mom has been taking the knobs off the gas stove ever
since Daffodil came to live with us. One day she turned one on, too. Mom
had what she called "visions" of the local newspaper front page telling
about family and candy store burned to ashes because of curious basset
hound.

Now, when Mom cooks (heh heh heh, excuse me just a little cough), she puts
the knobs back on as she uses them but always takes them off and put them up
in the cupboard overnight.

When my Dad got sick and had to stay in the rolling chair, she made sure
that they were so high that he couldn't reach them either. She figured that
he'd try to cook from his rolling chair and would end up starting a fire.

You know, they must be pretty important little knobs. I wonder what they
taste like?

Happy New Year, Yogi. I hope that you get to give your Mom a different
surprise soon.

Fondly,
Lilie Basset
