[Dailydrool] ABC Basset Rescue Adoption Event

Hi all - 
 
  Some people may have seen that ABC was able to take in 5 Texas hounds after a breeder break-up over New Year's weekend.  What a great experience - we really appreciated Helping Hounds thinking about ABC & letting us help out! When these 5 made it into NYS they got some major publicity in the Buffalo area with the news stations and the paper; so much that these 5 and 2 others we brought in over the weekend are already spoken for which has left us with a rather large waiting list for adopters.  What a position for a rescue to be in!  I have reached out to several rescues already & haven't heard anything back as of yet - so here is ABC's proposal for other rescues.  We're going to host an adoption event in Buffalo, NY on Sunday 1/22; we don't want to disappoint potential adopters & we'd like to help some other rescues out.  If anyone is interested - I'm looking for 15-17 hounds from various rescues that are younger, vetted, and currently in need of placement from your foster systems.  Since we're asking rescues across the U.S. we'd be looking for 5 or more dogs from each rescue to make the transports worthwhile for everyone; ABC would of course split the adoption fees with the other rescues.
