[Dailydrool] Peace and snores

Normal behavior here. Everyone is snoring and snoozing off their dinners.
Marley is next to me which is not making Ninja very happy. Maggie is
sleeping in the baby bed, or at least most of her is. The DH got home
early today. He normally comes home around 5 but today it was 3. The
livestock get fed at 5ish. As soon as he came in the begging started.
Ninja bellowed,Maggie yipped, Marley glared, Shelby did her shuffle, The
brothers sat on the table and licked their chops and Ding began yowling and
pacing. This went on for almost two hours. Finally the little beggars got
their food. Now they are sleeping it off. They associate Dad with food.
I didn't know it was that strong.

Ding is now ours, I guess. He got his shots on Wednesday. We will do the
spay soon. He is getting used to us slowly and he is beginning to tolerate
the girls. Now when they get close, Ding raises his paws but does not
hiss. He and Davinci still have hissing matches. I also discovered
tonight that Ding worries about each and every piece of food. He finished
up two double sided bowls. He ate every crumb. I guess he was a stray
long enough that any food is very important. He is a growing boy. This
time the vet said he is probably only 9 months old. I know I should talk
about the bassets but Ding is a special kitty. The vet tech wanted to keep
him. He has three black cats and wanted him. He creeped me out. He just
kept holding Dinger and telling me that he was not a stray, that someone
was really missing their kitty. I don't know what he wanted me to do. I
didn't find the people. I am not giving him away. If someone came and
claimed him we could talk about it. He is a very loving soul. I think I
am starting a zoo.

Marley was chewing her butt again and has stopped now. I think that she
didn't like Sake when he was here. Too many animals and in the girls'
minds, way too many kitties. We just try to get along. I wish I had more
room and more money to house more. Maybe someday.

We are sending drool to families who have lost a loved one. I don't have
any magic words but wish everyone peace and time to heal.

and Dinger
