I'm sorry folks, it seems like a small typo but below I originally said I left
Snoopy in the CAR of the DH and of course that was supposed to be CARE ... I
would NEVER, EVER leave a dog in a car .... sorry for even suggesting it. I'm
sure you knew it was a typo but anyway .......

Well, the girls and I went to the ballet today so we left Snoopy, OEBE, Curator
of missing objects in the care of the DH. Whoops. Usually it turns out OK
because Cyrus is there to keep order but Cyrus is on strick orders to take it
easy from Dr Heading and Cyrus follows written as well as verbal instructions.
So, Cyrus was resting and left care and feeding of the bassets to the DH.
Double Whoops.
Actually, I fed the bassets and Cyrus before I left. Evidently though, a scheme
was hatched in my absence. You see, Thor can open the door to the man cave.
The kibble bin is kept in the man cave. Snoopy is a master at tipping and then
opening the latch on the kibble bin. Can you guess where this is going? Yeah.
We're missing a bunch of kibble. Now, Thor could use some more meat on his
bones ... but Snoopy .... oh for goodness sakes we JUST got Snoopy looking
halfway decent after a rash of bread thievery and I come home and he looks
pregnant! He's not bloating .... I rubbed his belly and he belched .... Greg
said he's had a bunch of massive BMs .... but he's full alright. Want to know
how full? I'll tell you how full ....
I decided to walk the bassets and Thor was all ready and Cyrus was ready to defy
doctors orders .... no way boy ... but ... where's Snoopy? I looked out back
(maybe passing some more kibble?) but no .... and then here he comes ...
thundering down the hall from my daughters bedroom with an open, and full, bag
of Doritos. Seriously. Still full. The boy was full enough that he couldn't
even eat doritos .... didn't want to put them down .... just couldn't eat them.
We went for our walk and he did fine, just came home and went potty again. He
needs his checkup and bordetello next week. WHAT am I going to say to the vet
about his weight?
Embarrassed momPerson with Snoopy, OEBE, curator of missing objects (and a
piggy) and Cyrus (I'm on rest, Dr's orders) and Thor the houseguest (can I make
it into the OEBE for aiding the curator of missing objects?)
