Hello everyone, Honey has gone to the bridge just a little over a month
now, and II miss her so much, her sweet little face, and she was such a
mama's girl....but I have noticed just in the last few days, Dottie is quieter
then she used to be when Honey was here, is it possible that she is just
really noticing that Honey isn't here? Dottie just seems sad, and she dont'
seem as excited about things. I have taken her for car rides, just to get
out, she can't walk far with the incredibly crooked front legs she has. She
still likes treats, and she will eat her kibbles, but not with the gusto
she used to have. Honey used to always sit on the swing with me in the back
yard, and today first time ever, Dottie wanted to come and sit with me. She
just seems sad, I hope it don't affect her health. Tonight she was acting
like she kept looking around, and panting. Acting a little scared like she
heard fireworks, so I gave her a Xanax the vet gave us for times like
that. She finally settled down. Any suggestions on trying to help her and
Scooby feel better, and not so depressed?
I understand how they feel, that is for sure, but they don't understand
where she went.......it breaks my heart that I can't explain it to them.
Barbie, and her 2 sad girls, Dottie and Scooby
