Stoney sits in front of Daphneyland, in a spot reserved just for him.


Yes, many, many moons ago a few of us went to Boardwaddle, arriving late at the pawction I ran into the bidding screaming "MEMEMEME I'll bid on that"
I had NO IDEA what was being bid on, and of course Auntie Bonnie B was bidding so I thought I'd up her bid helping the poor houndies - (do you see this one coming???)
Uncle Rich was the auctioneer and he of course knew that I had just put my foot in it, and as I made my way to see what I had bid on he yelled SOLD TO DAWN OF THE WEST.


Stoney.
A concrete basset statue. A REALLY HEAVY basset statue I might add.
Stoney has had many adventures, he drove from New Jersey to PA, flew back to LAX, had a limo ride to Tarzana, in the midst of a move to Palmdale he was KIDNAPPED and finally Stoney resides at Daphneyland.
The best $150.00 ever spent on a concrete statue.
Good thing in those days we did not have the luggage costs we do today or Stoney may have had to stay in PA!!!!
