For this I thank you…
 
I was abandoned or lost. I was given up~ no longer needed or affordable. Others came before me and I became a burden or trouble. My health was no longer perfect or my age and looks no longer desired.
You came to my rescue. You fed me. You took care of my ill health and you still care for me even when I don’t return that love openly. You are patient with my actions and kind to me even when I don’t behave as I should. You might have traveled far or spent much to save me. You will ensure that my remaining days I am cared for, secure and loved.
For this I thank you!
