I just want to let the newer members of the drool who might not know Riche what a great person she is and just like thanks goes to Nancy for starting the drool our very own Riche is the editor of a great magazine now on line. Thank you Riche for doing the great magazine the Bugler. I still have my first copy (then a hard copy) of the Bugler. Alexa Paul of PSBR gave it to me when i adopted my first basset from her. I was hooked. If you ever get a note from Riche it is safe and not spam. She has permission to re-print posts from the digest in the Bugler, she does like to also ask the writer of the post if it ok with them. Riche never just uses a post with out permission from the person who wrote it. She educates so many folks about the breed we all love. Your post could be a part of that education.

As most of those on the Drool list know, the Bugler reprints various posts on interesting subjects in its online publication each month. I always ask permission from the poster and never print a post without having received an OK via email. A few people, perhaps newer to the list and unaware of the Bugler (gasp!), do not respond and I never know if that is because my request went to their spam file or they didn't know it was all right to give permission. Of course, if anyone simply doesn't want their post reprinted, that's fine, but it would be helpful to know the person at least saw the request. Just hit reply and say No. Anyone wishing to see an issue is free to request one be sent. It will be a pdf and requires Adobe Reader to open. Issues are Mac-produced and virus free.
