When did it start to be the New Thing to make extremely high-protein 
food for dogs? I know cats require higher protein level -- they're more 
carnivorous than canines, and need protein percentage in mid 30's or 
more. While checking protein percentage of a number of dog foods the 
other day, was amazed how high some were (29 to 36 percent). A moment 
ago, saw an Iams commercial touting FIFTY PERCENT protein! Say what?
