[Dailydrool] Bassets and fruit

Duchess loved tomatoes.
 
Fresh off the vine tomatoes.  Literally.  My Dad had a small  garden out 
back, and every year it was cleared of tomatoes at basset  height.  Neatly 
plucked and enjoyed just at their ripe prime.   Telltale tomato smears on 
muzzle, ears, throat, chest, paws (she was an  enthusiastic eater, but never a 
neat one).
