[Dailydrool] Long overdue Memorial - Marina Zacharias

There are so many people who come and go in our lives, each making an impact - some teach us lessons, some bring us joy, some heal where hope has been lost - every daily encounter is alive with the chance to learn something and in turn, pass along that knowledge.


In 1995 I was fortunate to be introduced to an amazing woman.
Marina Zacharias of Natural Rearing (dot) com.
The archives carry the tale of my Princess and the horrible liver battle we raged to save her life, and save it we did. Since that time Marina has been a staple in my daily life of rescue. The magic triangle of Marina, Gretchen, Sandy Gaston and Jean Dodds created a life saving team of alternative medicine that has helped thousands upon thousands of sick furkids get well. Although the days of daily emails have long since passed, I think there might not be a day that goes by where the mention of these incredible ladies, passes my lips and permeates my mind.


It is indeed with a heavy heart that I learned today of Marina's passing quietly and privately back in December of Liver Cancer.
The shock of finding out 6 months later is indeed upsetting.  How could I have missed such news?
The answer of course must be that in passing as in life, Marina did so on her own terms and her path was indeed bathed in a warm glow - of floodlights from our ethereal angels, those she helped and those she loved and the view is so very hard to envision.


I shall miss her. Beyond words.
In my heart I know Cocshall finally got to lick her face - and be bellyrubbed by an angel.
