what a shock to read this Dawn.   back in Oct.2011 I called Marina to take her to lunch and she declined.   Not specically being worried that she would not meet us on her island, I figured she was just very busy.  NO way did I figure about this....i am stunned and i sure thank you DAwn for posting as it was odd that she passed on it as she had been a major factor in saving one of our rescue dogs lives...Dudley Do Right.    Marina and I always enjoyed speaking about her herbs and how successful they were in curing so many problems.

do you have a follow up address in the BAhamas for her or any family or friends that we can send a note to?     leslie, montana





It is indeed with a heavy heart that I learned today of Marina's passing quietly and privately back in December of Liver Cancer.
The shock of finding out 6 months later is indeed upsetting.  How could I have missed such news?
The answer of course must be that in passing as in life, Marina did so on her own terms and her path was indeed bathed in a warm glow - of floodlights from our ethereal angels, those she helped and those she loved and the view is so very hard to envision.
