[Dailydrool] Proin & Dale's vets

Our Belvedere was on Proin at the end of his life, when his incontinence became so bad. It may have helped a little, but in the end I believe my vet was right when he ascribed the problem to arthritis in the spine, which was affecting nerve function. I understand however that Proin is more effective in females than males, though.
 
Dale, I too am very concerned about your vets. When my vet needs information from a specialist, she has some arrangement in which she can phone and get information. I don't know how this works, just that she can get a quick opinion. The information she's gotten has always been good. If it is truly something she cannot handle, she'll refer me to a specialist nearby.
 
If your vets can't identify the problem, maybe you need to see an internist? If they don't suggest it, why don't you ask for a referal?
