I know I'm a bit late on this topic but I had to share my experience with this wonderful treatment.

I first heard I this from the drool so for the last 5 years this is our go to for Rambo and Speedy. We've never had any ear problems with the boys.

When Shelby was our houseguest last year, she had horrible ears. Her owner thought for sure she had an ear infection so scheduled a be appointment for that Saturday. In the meantime I was flushing her ears (only once a day cuz I usual I didn't read droplets instructions thoroughly) by the time we took Shelby to the vet. The vet had no clue that she even had an ear problem. To this day her owner is amazed of how well it worked in just that short week.

Now we have another houseguest Peggy the foster. When rescue drop her off they took a glance at her ears and said they looked fine. However, there was an unpleasant smell on her face that I couldn't locate. It was coming from her ears. Shar Peis have a very closed up ears that make it hard to look inside but i couldnt she her ear cannal at all. To me her ears were dirty so I started her on blue ear treatment. She had chunks after chunks of ear wax coming out of her ear. After one flush the stench coming out of her ears was disgusting. It has been a week of treating and now we can finally see inside her ear. Her ears still stink like poo but the smell isn't as strong and chunks of wax are still coming out. It's amazing she hasn't had an infection yet.

I have a new respect for the blue ear treatment.

On a side note the boys really don't like getting their ears cleaned. They let me of course but Rambo tries to hide when he sees the bottle out. An neither of them let me massage for the required minute. I've read that most dogs don't mind it at all and some even enjoy it so what gives? Am I alone on this?
