I vaccinate for Lepto every year because it's prevalent in our area. Our dogs get their Rabis and Distemper every three years.
Our guys eat rabbit poop and the dewy grass which I've been told is where they can pick up Lepto.  I don't know what I will do when they get older but now I am not going to take a chance. Their vet doesn't believe in over/needless medication so I trust them on this.
