[Dailydrool] Spring: Parvo season

Any season is Parvo season but spring seems to be especially nasty, and
that virus can and does live and thrive everywhere. Watch out for those
cute little buppies at PetSmart and PetCo, places where people put their
brand newly vaccinated puppies on the filthy floor, thinking because they
had a shot two hours ago they are now protected.
Or they are "saving money" by not vaccinating at all. (Very prevalent where
I live.)
One of my first kennel manager experiences was caring for a litter of 9
that died, one at a time, because the owners did not vaccinate.

This isn't about whether to vaccinate. All puppies need vaccinations to
start with. And time to develop immunity. So watch for people who don't. (I
assume every cute puppy is a walking sea of viruses until proven otherwise,
but then, I'm a real skeptic.)
