[Dailydrool] Another big party while mom sleeps.

I finally have some peace and quiet as Gracie and Drummer went home today. It is amazing how much work is involved with a couple more dogs than usual. Last night I woke up (don't know when with the time change) because I heard a noise but I did not hear it again. When I tried to turn over, there was Gracie smack in the middle of the bed. I guess she knew it was her last night with me and wanted to snuggle. I looked over and could see Drummer on Crackers' bed. So I went back to sleep. Got up and went downstairs to let hounds out and then to kitchen to make their breakfast. Hmmm. NO BOWLS! Now every night, I fill the bowls with kibble and stack them on the counter pushed way back so it takes less time and barking to get them fed. In the am I add the chicken livers or giblets with a little broth.
As my foggy brain was searching for the bowls I realized that SOMEONE HAD SNAGGED THE BOWLS AND EATEN THE KIBBLE. I know that Loki and Jordan are both atheletic and have gotten things I never dreamed they could reach and I am assuming that Crackers helped them out with the cleanup because there was not a piece of kibble to be found. Since nobody had an extra large tummy there had to be several hounds in on this one. I found the bowls in various places around the downstairs including the water bowl. 
Maybe I will try the top of the refrigerator next...
