Buster the dog whose owners no longer loved him because he got too big is 
still in our rescue. He has had so many health problems.
Remember when we got him he needed entropian surgery then he needed ortho 
surgery to get his gimpy leg operated on. With the generous help of Droolers 
we were able to help him with both surgeries.
He looks great now he also had several skin infections I thought were 
allergies but it turned out it was an infection on his skin. Omega 3 oil 
helps keep the skin healthy I discovered after one drooler posted. His skin 
is healhier and he is not shedding as badly I attribute both to the fish 
oil.
Now he has an anal gland infection.
He has a thickening in one of his anal sacs and after two rounds of 
antibiotics and more prednisone we may need to remove one of his anal sacs 
because it may have a tumor more tests in two more weeks after a new med to 
try to work this infection out.
Not only does he have and has had a lot of health problems he is a nuerotic 
boy. He does not love the things my other Bassets love he eats odd things. I 
have to force him to eat treats. He hates sweet potatoes and jerky dog 
treats. He used to love the Fresh Pet Treas but now turns his nose up at 
them.
 He is a very odd duck. Oh I got him Royal Canin duck and potato food he 
eats it part time, he eats his fresh bison occasionally. But he is okay 
because he still weighs 94lbs and is not fat. He is a large Basset and a 
picky eater by the time he sniffs something and spits it out anoher drive by 
Basset has snatched it away and he just looks a me. LOL anyway he still 
needs a home one with lots of patience so if anyone near Kansas City wants a 
nuerotic Basset please let me know.
I would like to keep him close I would like to be able to check up on him 
and make sure he makes whoever adopts him as happy as he makes me.
