[Dailydrool] New Buppy

This weekend we got a new buppy from GABR.  She is about 3 months old and her foster mom was the Daily Drool's very own Jan with Dexter and Lady.  I don't remember who was asking, but my last 2 out of 3 puppies have come from GABR.  We got Beauford from GABR when he was 9 weeks old.  His mom was surrendered to GABR 2-3 days before she had pure-bred puppies (the dad was surrendered as well).  The second puppy we did not get from rescue, but we got from the foster parents of Beauford.  They are the epitamy of great breeders.  Now we have added Browyn-a 12 week old puppy that was surrendered at about 8 weeks to a shelter after 3 days.  Apparently the people weren't prepared for what a puppy means.  Beauford thinks he has died and gone to heaven.  He has his very own buppy to take care of and watch over.  Bugsey is not quite as enamoured.  He is willing to take his turn babysitting, but he is not sure about this little thing called sharing.  He finally agreed that she can eat the mulch in the backyard as long as she is IN the mulched area.  She is not allowed to eat mulch in the grass or on the deck.  She is NOT allowed to touch his stuffed animals.  Today we had a talk and we agreed that she is allowed to have chew toys as long as they are fake and not real-cow hooves or antlers.

Browyn sleeps through the night. She hasn't had an accident in the house. She knows how to ring the bells to go out. She knocks the gates over and runs up the stairs. She can get on all the furniture and can jump from on piece to the next. I feel ridiculous because I am carrying her down the stairs because she is too little to be putting that much strain on the front legs yet, but she is merrily jumping from the couch to the coffee table to the couch and down. I can't thank GABR or Jan and her sister Joyce for all the love they have brought into our lives.  We have been waiting for a little princess and we finally have her!
