[Dailydrool] Reading The Droolz

Momma here--Momma that is so far behind I couldnt find my behind-----

First Drool to all in need, welcome to all the new hounds and slaves that have joined the fun on the Drool!

Things here at the Beach--like everyone else that has been silent---busy, it is summer here one day and winter the next. I had to break down and turn on the AC tonight, even the hounds were bothered by the heat, or the moon or anything else of late. To say I have had the paws full is a understatement.

Sister Daisy and I have been having the battle of wits. The maybe I will eat the breakfast bowl--no wait, let me walk around it a few more times--uhhhh---no--no wait--maybe----Maybe I have to work Daisy to put food in that bowl------get on with it!!!! This starts the day well---this morning-I picked it up, went to work and gee-guess who was screaming for her dinner bowl. Score one for Momma. Rare event.

Brudder Elwood.Now what can I say here, I have to give him credit, the poor guy has had his paws full, that is when they are not in his choppers chewing his feet that is---Elwood gets it from all angles these days, if Bessie is not picking on him, Brudder Jake is taking shots at him. No wonder he spends so much time in the bathroom . He is aging these days-but bless him, he has not laid a tooth on anyone, well last night was close----sigh.

I understand the moon is gonna be extra bright this month--well Brudder Jake, Mr Moon Dog with a attitude----I got your number big boy. He has had screaming matches with Elwood 2 nights in a row, we had to have a Momma to Basset discussion. Doubt I won that one but give the old lady credit for the college try----

And then there is Daddys little sweetheart. Bess is gaining some trust, but still hates strangers and the voices on the TV. I had company 2 days last week, different friends and she barked, cowered,  she does watch Elwood and sees how happy he is to get attention, but still we have old issues to deal with. She broke a toebone nail last week--Daddy swooned, I thought he was going to call 911--he was on the floor, massaging the paw--all you can do is chuckle. Do you notice Daddy might be spoiling his little girl??? 

Tonight we had storms in the area, Bill I was ready to try scotch, or bourbon------not a one of them would settle down. 

We are grain free here also, and Jake is my itchy basset, he is on Wellness also, it does seem to help. He gets the fish one--Jake has issues with any chicken. The others are also on grain free Orijen. It is like a short order deli around here as I cook for them also. 

Okay--thats it from the Beach Gang---everyone ready to waddle????
