[Dailydrool] Sadie in trouble

My Mom lives with me and two basset hounds.  Sadie spends her time with her when I'm at work.  Usually morning route took the girls out, feed them, gave them their medicine and Sadie goes over to Mom side of the house.  Sadie usually has a nose around the living room, kitchen and in the bedroom with mom and sits or goes to sleep in her lazy boy chair.  Well I heard my mom yelling, with a few choice words at Sadie.  When I got over there, Sadie found my mom purse in the living room and got her goodie bag out of it.  It contains wethering candy, gum, and cookies.  Well this time Sadie  got the wrappers off the candy and ate them (she usually eats wrappers and all), eat some gum and cookies.  This happened when I was ready to walk out of the house to go to work.  


Well after 5.5 hour day at work - it was crazy (work in a pharmacy).  I just got through the door and mom informed Sadie was in trouble again!  Mom decided to have a piece of watermelon after lunch.  Well she cut herself a piece of melon and dropped it on the floor.  You can just imagine from then on.  Well the bolt of lightening named Sadie got the watermelon and eat it.  Again, there were a few choice words at her.  I realize this is a typical basset hound, but my mom just quite don't understand a basset or the trouble they can find or get into!  You have to realize my mom is 88 years old.  We had others dogs growing as a child.  But everybody knows a basset is basset.  I find it quite funny, but not mom  just does understand how she finds things to get into!
