Hello Droolers. 1st off, heart healing drool to all of those whose furkids have made the journey to the bridge. They will live forever in the magic of our memories.

2nd. It has been a ruff day here at ASTT HQ. After not getting home until 3am from pulling military duty, I end up dealing with the 3 P's from Ruger who has decided to get sick on me. I let them out at 3:30 when I got home, all seemed fine, up at 5:30 (around normal get-up time) for morning potty and giving allergy meds. Back up at 7:30 to feed (Ruger has to wait an hour after his med before eating...so this is normally at 6:30) I ended up cleaning up poop...I haven't had to do this in a long time, "what gives?". Ruger doesn't eat breakfast...again not normal. Back up at 9:30 because I hear rustling in the boyz room. I walk in to find pee and puke! WTH? The puke was last nights undigested dinner. Yuck. Now he is doing a lot of strecthing, a little restless. I call the vet...Doc Brightman is in surgery but the receptionist says bring him in at 1200. So I give a pepto...he throws it up. I give a gas-x he throws it up. More stretching, more resltess. Seems to be getting worse. I remember my liquid gas-x and give Ruger that. He keeps it down. But still more strectching and more restless, and still panting in an air conditioned house. i get out the stethescope...no bowel sounds. Now I'm scared! It is 1115 I call back and tell the receptionist that I think Ruger might be trying to bloat I and that I am on my way in with him. She tells me that I might have to see doc Banard...Don't care (I know doc Brightman is in the next room if needed) I try to just take Ruger out but Colt starts throwing a fit!!! Barking, howling,,,,crap! get his leash and take both of them. Now why is it that when you are in a real hurry that everyone seems to be out on a "sunday drive"? I am panicing, now yelling at the drivers "get the F' out of my way, it is hump day not sunday so hump on out of my way you shit for brains" I'm about to go Marlene on these fools when I relize that I am upsetting Colt & Ruger. So I pray for a little patience and drive on. I get in and Doc Brightman is inbetween surgeries and came in to take care of us. Have I ever said that I love my vet!!! Anyhowl, Doc examines Ruger and says that it was possible that he was trying to bloat, but not now. Gas-x may have kicked in. He is having some major GI discomfort and he thinks it is a virus that is going around...3rd dog this morning with it and 12th in the last 3 days. So a couple shots, some meds and some i/d and a nice chunk of plastic dropped ($$$) and we are back home. Ruger is resting comfortablly on the couch with Colt now and seems to be feeling a little better. We will withhold food until 7pm and then only give a couple tablesoons of i/d ever 2 hours after that. So if you can spare a little drool to help wash away the GI buggies out of Ruger and help him get feeling better and back to chasing squirrels I would sure appreciate it.
Love and Drool to all.

Colt "No one takes my bubbie anywhere with out me!"
Ruger "Momma, My tummy doesn't feel so good"
