[Dailydrool] Burned Basset

This story brought back horrible memories for me. Almost 15 years ago we had a grease fire in our kitchen and my basset had 3rd degree burns on his back. He survived and lived to a ripe old age. However, so many people asked what happened and assumed it was abuse. We felt awful about it. It was an accident we lived with forever. Quela went to the bridge almost 10 years ago.  I miss you old fella.
