[Dailydrool] p-bot: perfect basset operating temperature

Rooney lives Ireland - a temperate sort of climate.  At present we are getting nights which barely make it to freezing and clear sunny days.  As long as it is dry, it seems to be the perfect basset operating temperature - the sniffs seem to be particularly sharp and clear, the ears waft them gently to the nose and the sun is warm without being hot as you follow where your nose takes you.  Rooney has a particular spring in his step at this time of year, and also in March/April.  We were wondering what the rest of you like?  We know some places gets so hot the hounds only get taken out at night.  We also know lots of you love playing in the snow.
