[Dailydrool] abcessed tooth

Hi Everyone,  we are finally recovering from the loss of our Ruby Reds last week.  It has been one of the hardest things to deal with.  I find myself avoiding thoughts of her at times.  Her pictures are all over the house and I would love to find a puppy that looks like her someday but it will be awhile.  The 8 dogs I have here keep me busy.  Thank God I have all of them.    My Mr. Horn has a slightly swollen face along side of his nose.  Very temder to touch.  He had a hard time trying to eat out of his bowl this morning so I hand fed him.  The vet has put him on Rimadyl and some antibiotics for a couple of days.  She said the swelling should go down.  She will have to extract the tooth, but wants to get some of the infection out first.  We are hoping it is not a tumor instead but she assured me it was probably a tooth and not to worry.  Anyone have experience with this?
