[Dailydrool] Dogs and Politics

Greetings Droolers,

As previously reported, Gracie chewed up our mail in ballots while we were at 
the Giants baseball game Monday night.  So, yesterday I called the registrar of 
voters to ask what to do.  Her response, and I quote "Oh, the dog chewed up your 
ballots?  Happens all the time.  Let me just get your information and we'll mail 
out a couple more."

So then I called the country assessors office about the property tax bill Gracie 
destroyed and the woman on the phone said "oh, another one 'eh?  Don't know what 
it is about dogs and our forms but they do steal them if they can.  Let me give 
you a code and you can just pay it online ok?"

As I told you, there was a stack of paperwork on the desk and ALL Gracie stole 
(and chewed up) were government paperwork.  And when I called two different 
offices I got the same response (yup, happenes all the time).

It seems that dogs (at least California dogs) do NOT approve of governmental 
anything.

I remain .... the clueless momPerson with Snoopy (who got into the kibble bin 
yesterday and is just now getting past his tummy ache) and LuLu (who is mid nap)
