Some dogs definitely do get hiccups, I've had a few who did, but they never
ate grass, etc., so you might want to be on the alert for bloat.  However,
if it is just the hiccups, what I do is grab the dog and start plastering
kisses all over their face while making very loud smooching, lip-smacking,
mmmmm-mmmmm-kissy-kissy noises non-stop.  It surprises them so much that
they forget to hiccup and it's over.
