[Dailydrool] Bunnies

I'm woefully behind in the drool.  I'm behind in everything - - including
doing my taxes, but that's another subject.  Anyway, tonight we had the 3
dogs out for their last pee break.  (mind you they have a dog door for 24x7
access).  A bunny ran by and they were off.  The bunny appeared to have
escaped.  Then the 3 of them were checking the route that the bunny came
from.   "No, not here" says Gallagher.  MacKenzie and Guinness run into the
shrubs at the side of the house.  Daughter Megan is at the kitchen door.  I
hear "squeak, squeak".  Me - "Megan, do you have "Snakey" (the favorite
squeaky toy)?"  Megan - "No".  Dang, they have a bunny.  The 86 lb. basset
has the baby bunny in her mouth.  Me -" drop it!!, Drop it".  "Squeak
squeak".  I grabbed mouth - trying to release the baby bunny.
I think she swallowed it whole.
Now I hear that the Cicadas will be here for their 17 year craziness in a
month or so.  Billions per square mile, my daughter swears.  The only thing
MacKenzie likes better than bunnies - "cicadas".  (Next is digging for
grubs).  So much for her low cal /low fat/ low snack diet.   I'm thinking a
muzzle is not out of the question.
