[Dailydrool] Basset Vacuum Cleaner

[Brewer, Bunny (Lorraine B.) CIV NAVAIR]

Any suggestions on the best vacuum new to the market that works well in basset homes with hardwood and ceramic floors and area rugs? I think I need a canister type so I can get under furniture.  How is the Dyson Animal canister model?
