PW Rolph OEBE has always been a chow hound. He has greeted each meal as if he had never had another.
He is legendary for his ability to steal everything from a kiddies' burgers at barbecues, through elderly relatives' dinners, to the Christmas turkey.
Food and Rolph cannot co-exist in the same space.

However, for the past four, or possibly more, weeks he has stopped eating breakfast. Or, if he has eaten it, he has picked very slowly through maybe half the bowl. He has also not eaten all his dinners.

When it started I thought he was poorly, so didn't feed him for 24-hours. But nothing changed.
He used to herald every meal by jumping in and out of the back door barking. Now he stands there waiting, and then just looks really disappointed when his bowl is put down.

I have checked his teeth and can't see an obvious problem. Ditto his tummy. His stools are normal, his weight hasn't dropped dramatically (which surprises me). He still eats treats (except on one occasion) and he still tries to steal human food.

He is not ill. He still wants and enjoys his walks, but he is somehow just a bit "off". And his long coat has changed texture, feeling more wiry.

Has anyone any ideas about this?
