Nothing is quite as much fun as trying to pry an annoyed Basset out of the
back of a crate. It is amazing how small they become and how pointy the
teeth are, something one tends not to notice normally. Even without the
teeth part, the vibrations as you approach are similar to a Romulan Proton
Shield or whatever those things were Capt Kirk was forever encountering.
What hurts the most is the "I will never snuggle with you again" glares.

MomPerson to Nigel, Llewis, Conley and the master of hiding in the back of
his crate, Doc.

(You would think a big dog like that couldn't roll up into something the
size of a Yorkie, wouldn't you?)
