If you are having browser problems, try Comodo Dragon browser, it looks exactly like Chrome, but it works much better. Got so frustrated with Chrome that I tried it (about a year ago) and I've never gone back. No voting problems on the Shelter Challenges for me since I switched. Comodo Dragon is a free download.
