[Dailydrool] Bessies Gothca Day and surgery news................................

Bess has now been here for 2 years, her social issues have only eased a bit, but she is loved by us so much, and she had a special day-a special bowl of goodies and a nice walk, along with a bite of cake. Thank you for thinking of her.
Elwood said he should of gotten a cake of his own since he has to put up with her and she does love to irritate him.

Myself, I had a dr apt on Monday-we were hoping that the platelet count would be up, but it was down yet again. it is now at 50, all due to chemo still in ther body. Surgery that was scheduled for next week is now off-and will be delayed at least a month. They are now discussing transfusions, and I go back to see the surgeon next week for "the plan"-----I have to say that I am glad they have made this change as with the platelets that low, I was terrified to go thru with it, and told the surgeon this. The stress of the past couple days and all of this have really worn me out. They have no idea how long it will take for the chemo to be out of my system since it was so much of it and so strong. Day by day is what I do, and give thanks for all the drool and prayers that keep me going forth. My eating has gotten much better, but----the scale reads 106 pounds. 

This afternoon was the worst news of all----hubby arrived home with the beginnings of a full blown cold. He has not had a cold in a good 10 years, but he is run down and tired------now if I get this--it will be a bird of a different color I am afraid.

Pam it was so wonderful to see you, it made my day-I still chuckle over you saying how I look good--LOL---but I very seldom look in the mirror as I hate what looks back-------

Drool prayers to everyone, and once again thank you all for all you have done for me-I would not of made it this far without you all!!!!!!!
