Hi it's Snoopy

The clueless momPerson has done this a million times. And mostly with great big doggies too. All of them were strays or pound pulls. And all has gone well. Here is her procedure

Take the new dog out of the car on lead. Let it sniff around out front. Potty if it needs to. Then bring the alpha dog out front on lead and introduce them. Looks for wagging and nice sniffing. Once that goes well take alpha inside and one by one bring out other resident dogs and introduce. Once all the dogs have greeted successfully then put the resident dogs inside and then take the newbie out back. All of the residents will come pouring out the dog door. Eventually they all go back inside and usually the newbie follows

MomPerson takes up all toys and favorite things until everybody settles. And designates a dog bed for the newbie in a corner where they can relax

Have fun and good luck from snoopy

Ps. Feel free to email off list if you want to more info. Of email for a phone umber to chat.
